We are selling this one family owned Survivor 1970 Ford Mustang 2-Door Hard Top. This car was purchased last year from the original owners son. The car was bought new in 1970 in California. The owner lived on a ranch in Northeastern California and used the car for personal use and road trips. The car was not an in town car and travelled about eight miles down a gravel county road and driveway. There are photos showing the rocker panels with the road rash from years of travelling on gravel roads. It was garaged and car ported out of the elements and only out overnight while away from home. I was told it was never wrecked or repaired. I have found no damage history only a small amount of rust just below the tail lights as that was where dirt road travel collected dust and with occasional moisture it was not noticeable. The original Hounds tooth vinyl top is in like new condition with no sign of rust underneath. The complete interior is in all original condition with the exception of the drivers seat that I have replaced with aftermarket material that is a perfect match . The dash has two cracks in the middle by the speaker. The radio works perfect. The exterior is all original with a few small door dings and scrapes. Overall the Pastel blue paint still shines up very nice. Please look at the pictures. There was never a time where the car just was parked and not used. It was always well cared for and maintained. If it was in need of anything it was taken care of promptly. The 302-V8 still runs like a top and fires right up with no knocks, smoke or rattles. This is a great car and if you are looking for that Survivor status Mustang this one is it. Marti report available.
